Might be on my man-period 🤨 This morning I woke up and went outside to soak up some sun. While I was just looking out, listening to my dogs sniff around the yard, I felt a breeze and it was like having the wind knocked into me… and then I bawled for about 20 minutes. I was thinking “Wow, there is SO much that I’m gonna miss when I’m gone...” It got me right in the gut. The love was so strong. I’m just so grateful for this life, this planet, this experience. It’s messed up how good of a job society does at making us forget how free and blessed we are, how beautiful our world is, and how at peace we could be. This is a reminder. And a promise. I will do better at keeping this reminder going and the message strong.

The last caption had nothing to do with the image. This will be the same. Possibly all images I post in the future will be. I’m realizing that these photos are my work, but they’re not my message. My message is this: Be kind to yourself and others. Be good to the planet. Drink water, eat for energy, stay active, do good for your body—it’s your one and only vessel… And sure, make your money, but don’t listen to all this “by whatever means necessary” bu****it. Do it your way. Don’t destroy yourself or your one and only home (aka the Earth) in the process. I envision a world where we all explicitly take care of the planet and each other. Thinking about it, I’m baffled we pay income and sales tax, but what about a tax to keep our world clean? Just like with our own house, we have a responsibility to keep the place we live clean. We spend so much time and money on entertainment and items we eventually throw away, and barely think about the fact that when humanity wins, Mother Earth loses. I don’t naively think we can just save the planet so easily, but I’m saying it should clearly be a part of our daily lives. Like making the bed. Doing the dishes. Paving roads. Paying taxes. This is how automatic planet maintenance should be.

Totally unrelated to the photo 😅 Anyone here donate to charities? If so, which ones? My wedding/engagement brand is called and I want to start making contributions from all sales to tree-planting, planet-saving organizations. I also would love to work with eco-friendly businesses, from clothing brands, stylists, HMUAs, or even just people who are like-minded and want to make all our time worth more than just memories.
