Real talk here...
I just got back from dropping my last child off at college. I'm officially an empty nester, and I don't love it. ❤️🩹 I walk from room to room in my house looking for my girls, and right now I can't even stand to look at all the photos I have of them all over my walls because it reminds me of what used to be.
So here is my advice. This applies to all aspects in life, and especially if you've always wanted to do a bo***ir session. 💋
Life is short, please do the things you want to do before it's too late. Don't keep telling yourself there will be a better time to do this, because before you realize, your time is gone.
Live with no regrets.....💛

“Taking care of yourself doesn’t mean me first, it means me too.” – L.R. Knost

I love this quote, and it means even more to me after speaking to someone who just booked a session yesterday. She said she has done this 3 times before (A bo***ir session). Once for her husband, once for a Pin-Up girl theme, and once after she had lost weight. But none of them felt like doing it just for her. This time, (she has a session booked in Sept), this time she is doing it for herself. Divorced, happy with her body, and wearing whatever she likes, she is finally doing it for the single reason I think every woman should do it.

To honor yourself, and show yourself the love you give so easily to everyone else.

You're worth it. 💕

Every week I hear the same sentence…

"I've always wanted to do this… but I'm too nervous."

Can I tell you a secret?

Almost every woman who walks into my studio feels exactly the same way.

They're worried they won't know how to pose.
They're convinced they're not photogenic.
They're certain everyone else is more confident than they are.

And then…

Hair and makeup begin.
The posing starts.
They see the back of the camera.

Suddenly the woman who's been hiding from photos for years starts smiling.

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱…
