Photographing friends is a funny thing! I get to walk into the session already knowing their story instead of trying to figure out who they are. I know their dynamic, their toddler isn’t shy with me, and we just get to skip the awkward “get you know you”.
I love being able to show up and basically just have fun with my friends and capture them in a way a stranger wouldn’t be able to. It’s one of my favorite parts of this job, and I’m so grateful for the friends who trust me to preserve their memories along the way.

A gentle reminder for every couple planning their wedding:
Your portraits shouldn’t feel like another item to cross off your timeline.
