Things have been hectic since moving to SD. I finally photographer two amazing people who happen to be friends we met in Puerto Rico. We are lucky they happen to live in SD.

My life has finally slowed down from our cross country move! We are starting to settle in our new home in beautiful San Diego.🌴

Unfortunately something always doesn’t go your way with military moves and our things got delayed. Due to needing time to unpack whenever our stuff does get here, I won’t be taking sessions until later this month.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far!🤍🤍

I’ve been slacking on posting due to things being busy.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Firstly, my husband’s time in the Navy is coming to an end. Hence this photo of him being rung off the ship.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our family is moving out of state, to our home state California. We are excited to be closer to our family, but we will miss all we gained here in Virginia Beach. This place will hold dear memories for us.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I will not be taking sessions after June 18th, so if you are wanting a session with me, now is the time to chat!
Please be patient with me if you proceed with booking/contacting me. I am juggling my current full time job, my photography business, applying for my full time position in CA, and everything else that comes with prepping for a cross country move.

It’s time for me to finally share for those who don’t already know...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Cheyenne Leon Photography will be moving to the West Coast come June 2021.
Unfortunately we do know exactly where yet, but we know it’ll be west. As many of you know my husband is active duty navy currently deployed. Once he returns home things will be officially sorted and then I’ll be able to announce our new home!

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m sharing this information to inform my currently clients and potential clients I am booking until the end of May. After May I won’t be able to accept bookings because we will be in the midst of packing and preparing our cross country drive.

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a joyous and safe NYE.

On the first of this year, I celebrated my 29th birthday. ✨🥳
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have an amazing group of friends here in Virginia who rallied behind me and all contributed to make my birthday (and what turned into birthday weekend) special. I am so blessed and incredibly grateful, especially because they knew my husband and I have been together 10 years and this was the first birthday of mine I haven’t spent with him since he’s deployed. It was saddening but they definitely helped me have a wonderful day nonetheless.

If 2020 taught us anything, it was slowing down and appreciating time with our loved ones when we have them. I’m thankful for my people.
