The older I get, the more I realize how important family photos are — especially since becoming a mom myself. It really is true that babies and kids do grow up so fast and they change so much so quickly!! Family photos really freeze time in the season you’re in right now —because it will likely be totally different in just a few months.

I first met B and her baby boy when I was 4 months postpartum and she was 3 months pp. Both our babies are totally different now compared to when we first met - they’re crawling or walking and a lot more active in general😆 It’s been the best getting to know her, having our babies be friends (as much as they can be at under a year old), and figuring out motherhood together. Always an honor to photograph a friend and her family in this season of life!!! 🤍
