How are you documenting your quarantine life??? This time that we get to have with our families under one roof is a gift and should be remembered! Got this guy a trip to Seattle and Portland for Christmas but you’ll have to ask him about how he ruined the surprise two weeks early and was punished by being publicly humiliated in front of our friends and not opening any presents on Christmas😂 We haven’t been on a trip together since Cece was born so this is the best thing ever.

Are you ready for a really amazing Cece update??! We’ve seen three specialists in the past two weeks. First was opthomology about her horners syndrome she got after her heart surgery. She said that her eye doesn’t look saggy at all, which was would cause the biggest risk for a stigmatism or needing glasses. Her pupils are still uneven but it doesn’t matter and we don’t even need to go back and see them unless her pediatrician ever thinks it’s necessary🙌🏽 Second was her ENT who did a quick scope to look at her laryngeal cleft repair and said it is healing beautifully and the stitches are already starting to dissolve. Next up will be a swallow study to see if she’s aspirating. Finally today we saw infectious disease and we are officially taking her off her prophylactic antibiotic ertapenem. She was taking it to prevent UTIs but we are hoping now that she has a functioning vesicostomy she won’t get them as much. She’s keeping her chest port for a while longer to be safe but I’m crossing my fingers we can switch to a port-a-cath before summer. We are also stopping her prophylactic vancomycin for c-diff in a week. Hopefully now that she’s not getting ertapenem her c-diff will fizzle our. Whenever I tell anyone in the medical field which antibiotics she is on regularly they are blown away because those are some of the heaviest hitters there are. It’s blowing my mind that we are finally decreasing her care when it felt like it was infinitely increasing for a while🙌🏽🙌🏽 Also she finally hit 21 lbs which is huge for her! And she hasn’t thrown up since we switched formulas over a month ago. All good things❤️❤️

Windansea beach has been one of my most popular locations for years and I am such a brat that I have tried to steer people away from it because I’m bored of shooting at the same location over and over (even though it’s a beach that has a million cool spots, is constantly changing, and always has prettier sunsets than anywhere else somehow). Ahhh today’s the day our feature in is on the shelves!!! Can’t believe it’s actually here!!! Still can’t believe we pulled this off only 6 weeks after we moved in. We haven’t done a single thing since and don’t know if we ever will😂 If I don’t throw a shout out to for making this happen I know I’ll hear about it later... so thanks for putting up with my big plans and pink floral walls❤️ Pretty sure you’re the only guy for me (jk VERRRRY sure).
