Collect moments, not things; Carlie had an extremely special and close relationship with her Grandma. Unfortunately, “Nene/tootie” as she liked to be called, passed just a few months before Jay + Carlie tied the knot this last weekend. Carlie’s grandpa had this necklace custom made and filled with her ashes for C. Moments like this are what makes my job such an incredible privilege. Hi friends! Wow, it’s been a while since I last posted. As everybody knows, the last few months have had some very heavy things happening in the world. Every time I went to post a pretty photo, it just never felt quite right, so I held off sharing things. But today marks 9/11. Which marks a very sad day. I remember exactly where I was standing and what I was doing the minute I saw it happening on TV. Reflecting back on that moment today, made me think about just how many people woke up that morning to live their lives and never came home to their loved ones. So, although today feels kinda like a weird day to share pretty photos, It also doesn’t. Today should serve as a reminder that we need to celebrate every single moment we have here together with the ones we love. Every. Single. Moment. So here is Megan + Scott. Two people I love, in love. ❤️ @ Carlsbad, California
