Howdy honey!

We have had an enormous amount of folks join in on the party around here so I figured it was time for another reintroduction of sorts✨🎞️
If we haven’t met yet, howdy! I’m Bri, a free spirit roaming across the West with my film cameras, many a cup of coffee, and cowboy hat in hand. I have had the honor & privilege of photographing folks for just about six years.
You can scroll through these photos to see a mix of behind the scenes of me at weddin’s plus some bits & bobs of my life. In my free time I am often curled up somewhere with a book, out on a horse with no cell service, or running on a trail somewhere. When I am not outside or with my loved ones you will find me shooting anything from cowboys to elegant weddings to portraits on film.
Most of y’all know that I straddle two very different worlds when it comes to my work. One world full of horses, cowboys, and the wild West spanning from California all the way to Montana. The other being a refined, elegant, and posh wedding world often set in San Luis Obispo, Sonoma, or San Francisco. It never fails to surprise me at how wonderfully welcoming all of y’all are of my blending of these two worlds. Whether I am photographing two cowboys getting hitched or engagements on the beach of the Central Coast or anything in between - y’all’s love & support means the whole world to me. One of the latest additions to the wild BBP world this year has been my administrative executive assistant, Giannah, who many of you have spoken with. She has kept things rolling in office while I roam around the West with all of you. Another exciting addition has been film photography which most all of you have gotten real excited about, you can scroll to the end to see some of my favorite film images this year (and a bonus self portrait on film).
If we haven’t met yet I cannot wait to shake your hand & to those who are yet to be in front of my lens this year I can’t wait to see ya. To all of my clients who have chosen me & who I am honored to serve, thank you.

Where to begin on this wonderfully wild & elegant cowboy weddin.
Shot on a mix of digital & 35mm film — S&D’s wedding was one of those lively days filled with joy & a million little perfect moments. From gorgeous florals done by one of my best friends to a wild dance floor and everything in between I will be dreaming of this weddin for a long while.

Now Bookings — The Heirloom Collection!✨🎞️

One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to connect with & capture my clients through so many phases of life, especially my clients who are entering parenthood. I wanted to do an exclusive collection just for my mamas to make booking easy & make sure we capture all the little details.

Not sure whether to do a first look? Here’s my two cents & why I think it matters✨🎞️

I’m not one to push hard on how your day should go, but this is one thing I’ve seen make a difference time and time again—so I’ll always bring it up with love and the goal of making your day more seamless.

I totally understand when my brides tell me they want that once-in-a-lifetime moment walking down the aisle. It’s classic, emotional, and cinematic.

But here’s the thing—first looks can still have that same magic.
You’re still walking down the aisle for the first time, seeing each other through the eyes of your people, surrounded by the energy of the ceremony.
It’s still emotional. It’s still cinematic.

A first look can be a game-changer for your timeline and your experience:

• It gives us more flexibility and lets us knock out portraits early.
That means you’re not cramming everything into cocktail hour—you actually get to enjoy it!
Sip your signature drink, hug your people, and soak in the party you planned.

• If you’ve got a bigger bridal party or extended family you want included, a first look helps ensure we have time for everyone—without the pressure of a tight post-ceremony timeline.
You’re not pulled in every direction later, trying to squeeze everything in.
Instead, we create space for connection, ease, and presence… not rushing.

• In my opinion, it’s one of the most tender, intimate moments of the day.
Just the two of you, locking eyes, taking it all in—before the day unfolds.
It grounds you. It connects you. It really is that once-in-a-lifetime moment for just you two to share.

Throwing it back to one of my favorite ceremonies of last summer & decided I wanted to share some of BBphoto’s best ceremony tips & tricks today✨
In no particular order-
✨Brides, remember to hold your bouquet at your waist line! We want to be able to see all of your beautiful dress and not lose it behind the flowers
✨Practice your vows! I know the nerves of saying your vows in front of everyone can be overwhelming, practice reading your vows out loud into a mirror so you know how to pace yourself through them!
✨Embrace mother nature. If the wind kicks up and pulls on your veil or flowers, do not stress. Sometimes those little moment can create some beautiful laughter & candid moments
✨Kiss kiss kiss! Practice multiple kisses & dip kisses once you are married and coming back down the aisle!
✨Bonus tip- remember to breathe. Be present, look around, soak up all the moment as you enter into the rest of forever!
I cannot wait for all my weddings this year & getting to get down with all my couples. It’s going to be the best year yet! See you on the trail before long

🚨 Hiring: Personal Assistant (with optional Wedding Content Creation!) 🚨

Hey friends! I’m looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Personal Assistant to help me run my wedding photography business smoothly. If you thrive on organization, project management, and streamlining processes—this might be for you!
💡 This role is primarily for a PA, but if you’re also interested in capturing behind-the-scenes content at weddings and shoots, there’s an opportunity for that too!

Who I’m Looking For:
🔹 A self-starter who can learn anticipate my next move and needs
🔹 Someone strong in project management, system creation, and schedule management
🔹 Experience in the wedding industry is a plus, but not required!
🔹 Female, 20-35 years old (ideal for a college student or someone looking for flexible work!)
🔹 Reliable transportation for occasional in-person needs
🔹 2-3 days a week, 10-20 hours per week (flexible, more during peak season)

What You’ll Be Doing:
✅ Client Communication: Managing emails, follow-ups, and inquiries
✅ Business Systems & Organization: Creating templates, workflows, and automation
✅ Social Media & Content Management: Using Canva, Unfold, Pinterest, and Narrative Publish (SEO knowledge is a plus!)
✅ Schedule & Workflow Management: Keeping my personal and business calendars running smoothly
✅ Bride Management: Tracking brides from inquiry to gallery delivery, maintaining systems to ensure no client falls through the cracks
✅ Creative Assistance (Optional!): If you are interested, I am also looking to hire help with BTS wedding content creation. I would love to discuss your interest and experience in digital marketing, creating IG reels / Tiktoks, and if you would be available to be attending 2-3 weddings a month, a couple portrait sessions a month, and if you are interested in traveling out of state for wedding content creation.
