This session, like all of my family sessions was child-led. And so for this awesome little one that meant having music blasting and essentially having a dance party as we walked around town!

Things we did during this in home photo session that I would 100% recommend, photo session or not:
- Dance party
- Duck duck goose
- Tea party
- Bubbles indoors
- Eating Ice cream

At the end of the day, all of these random little things that we love to do with our family create the richest memories, and the most beautiful photographs.

I’ve been around younger kids my whole life. My mom is a nanny and I watched her help raise so many kids from infant hood. I spent my youth babysitting, my college years working at a daycare, and have now spent over 9 years taking children’s portraits and family portraits

One thing I’ve experienced over and over again, is how quickly children grow. And it’s never ever hit harder than now that I’m experiencing it with my own daughter.

It makes my heart ache sometimes, but also, it’s given such an appreciation for the magic of childhood. What a time it is, to be a parent and get to witness our kids imagination, their wonder, their love of play.

I hope to preserve some of this magic in my photos. To allow you and your family a space where you all can be yourselves, on your peaceful weekend mornings, in the sacred spaces that hold your memories.

Sessions are 20 minutes long
Include 10 digital images
Options to purchase additional images

This is open to all session types- family, couples, maternity, or even just a fun portrait session!

If you’ve been following me, you know I love this location. It’s part of my regular hike at Mount Burdell, and it’s been drop dead gorgeous this spring.

Photo sessions, as always, will be lowkey and fun!

These photos were taken in locations I hadn’t shot before, but that were meaningful to this couple, and that is everything for me. From their photos in their home (shown on a previous post), to the gorgeous woods surrounding it, this session was built around a celebration of their love and the life they’re building together. If you ever have a location that means something to you, tell me about it. Celebrating your milestones in the places that mean something to you is so worth it!
