A little glimpse into the recent life of Skyler.
The critters caught, adventures had, races run, bathroom selfies snapped….haha. Just a regular person trying to live their best life in this beautiful city of San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. I’m so grateful to have called this place my home for the last decade! It is such an incredible place to live. ❤️

A few words that would describe me are:
Relaxed, low maintenance, introverted (though can be extroverted in the right circumstances), outdoorsy, progressive, free spirited, easy-going, adventurous, stubborn… 😁 and spontaneous.

Scenes from our wedding day, April 10, 2026.

It down poured all morning. I tried to remain chill.
We had a Plan B, but the decision would be made at the last possible minute.

Do we get married on the beach or switch to Plan B?

Then the clouds parted and the sky opened up.
The sun came out. The wind died.
And it was perfect.

Today I shared a blog post about everything I learned while planning my own wedding in San Francisco (as a wedding photographer myself).

My #1 piece of advice?

Enjoy the day. Seriously.

One of my own clients told me this just days before our wedding. I had photographed their micro wedding a few weeks earlier, and they booked me again for a post-wedding session the week before my own wedding.

He told me: “The day goes by so fast. Really soak it in and enjoy it.”

And I truly tried to take that advice to heart.

At the end of it all, the things I remember most aren’t the decorations or tiny details I stressed about for months. I remember laughing with our friends. Hugging people we love. Dancing! Just seeing everyone together in one room.

I remember how the day felt.

And honestly, that’s exactly what I hope for my couples too.

When the light hits just right.

Obsessed is an understatement when it comes to this in home maternity session. I’m going to take my time sharing little snippets of the gallery. This pocket of light was one of my favorites. Caught it near the end of the session.

I love seeing how light moves throughout a home as the hours pass by. It’s why I frequently revisit a spot inside the home throughout a session. Bopping around to different pockets of light is one of my favorite things to do, so I was really stoked that was down to go wherever. 🥰
