With this new Godzilla 2000 from comes a humbling realization. The passing of the torch, if you will. An articulated figure of my favorite Godzilla figure has been a longing of mine ever since I was a kid. In 2020, during lockdown, I tried making that dream a reality. I learned so many different sculpting, resin pouring, painting, and crafting techniques to take it upon myself and create a one of a kind figure. Iโve loved photographing my custom G2K, and this send off is bitter sweet. The hard work that went behind my custom, and getting to share it with this community, has been such a satisfying journey. With every new resculpt, I felt like I was getting closer and closer to Godzilla 2000 perfection. But here we are, pretty much there. This figure isnโt perfect, but itโs taking the spot of a beloved custom that I spent many years honing.
Keep dreaming and itโll become your reality. I think thatโs what Iโm saying.
