I got to meet so many great/grandparents for my Lunar New Year minis who were taking professional photos for the first time and it’s been such an honor to photograph them while they are still with us and healthy. This great grandmother is in her 90s and going strong! She stays active by walking and doing tai chi.

What Lunar New Year traditions does your family follow?

Taking my daughter to get her haircut today, will be cleaning house from top to bottom, packing red envelopes, and of course a big family dinner this weekend with my dad’s six siblings and their children and grandchildren!

Sometimes self-care before baby comes, looks like booking yourself a maternity shoot with professional hair and make up, followed by a nice dinner with your partner honoring last days as a family of 2 (because we can’t waste the lewk!). This mom was absolutely glowing!
