I don’t think we’ll miss the grand moments the most.
I think we’ll miss the ordinary ones.

The evenings that ended with nowhere to be. The walks that had no destination. Sharing an ice cream while the city carried on around you.

When we first spoke, they told me they were nervous about being in front of the camera.
But somewhere between our discovery call, the emails we exchanged, and getting to know each other, the nerves slowly made room for trust.

During that first conversation, they also told me that Chinatown had quietly been part of their story from the very beginning. It was where they’d come for Chinese food when they first started dating. So choosing this neighborhood wasn’t about finding a beautiful backdrop—it was about returning to a place that already held pieces of their love.

By the time we met, it didn’t feel like two strangers showing up for a photoshoot. It felt like spending an afternoon wandering through a place that already meant something to them, laughing over old memories, stopping for ice cream, and creating a few new ones along the way.
That’s what I’m always hoping for.

Not a gallery full of perfect poses, but photographs that feel like home.
Because years from now, I don’t want you to look at your photographs and think, “We looked beautiful.” I want you to smile and remember exactly what that season of your life felt like—the places you loved, the way you laughed together, and the quiet little traditions that made your story yours.

Have been so long I don’t say hi in here.

Hi, I’m Stephane.

If you’re new here, I thought I’d introduce myself.

I was born and raised in Brazil, but life eventually brought me to California, where I fell in love, built a home, and somehow found the career I never knew was waiting for me.
Photography was never just about beautiful images for me.

I’m fascinated by people.
The way we love.
The way we remember.
The little things we don’t even realize we’re doing until they’re gone.

I don’t believe your wedding day is a performance.I believe it’s one of the few days in your life where every person you love exists in the same place, at the same time. That’s incredibly rare. And I think it’s worth protecting.

So while I’ll absolutely create photographs that feel timeless and artistic, what matters most to me are the moments in between. Those are the photographs I hope you’ll treasure fifty years from now.

When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll probably find me in my garden, traveling somewhere with my husband, getting lost in a good book, dreaming about my next adventure with a camera in hand, camping in the wild where the quiet and connection with nature recharge my soul, or cuddle with my puppies while watching tv shows.

If you’ve made it this far, thank you for being here.
I hope this page feels like more than a portfolio. I hope it feels like a place where love is seen exactly as it is—honest, imperfect, and deeply beautiful.

If that’s the kind of story you want someone to tell, I’d be honored to tell yours.

These moments feel quiet. Almost like the world disappeared for a moment and only the two of them existed. It feels intimate and special.

I don’t photograph love because it’s beautiful.

I photograph it because it’s fleeting.

The small fleeting moments are the pieces of your story that time tries to steal first.

My job isn’t to create them.

It’s simply to notice them before they’re gone.

I think love is at its most beautiful when it doesn’t feel like it has anything to prove.

Just two people finding each other in the quiet.

The way she looks at him before she says a word.
The way he reaches for her without thinking.
The way the afternoon light wraps around them as if it knows it’s witnessing something sacred.

These are the moments I’ll choose over and over again.

The ones that don’t ask to be noticed, but stay with you long after you’ve left.

Because years from now, you probably won’t remember every flower, every song, or every detail.

But you’ll remember how it felt to simply exist together.

If my photographs can bring you back to that feeling, then I’ve done exactly what I came here to do.

Some stories deserve to be celebrated more than once.

This wasn’t about recreating a wedding day.

It was about honoring everything that has happened since the first “I do.” The years they’ve shared, the challenges they’ve walked through together, the life they’ve continued choosing to build side by side.

There is something incredibly moving about watching two people stand in front of each other and say, “I’d choose you all over again.”

Being trusted to witness that is something I never take for granted.

Every couple who invites me into such an intimate chapter of their lives gives me a gift. They allow me to stand close enough to preserve memories that will one day become part of their family’s story.

And that is a privilege I carry with so much gratitude.

To these two—thank you for choosing me. Thank you for letting me document not just what your vow renewal looked like but what it felt like.

Your joy, your gentleness, the way you still look at each other after all this time, your cute baby girl celebrating you two… those are the moments that remind me why I love what I do.

Here’s to choosing each other, over and over again

I don’t photograph motherhood because you’re having a baby.

I photograph it because you’re becoming someone entirely new.

There is something so sacred about this season. Your body is changing. Your heart is making room for someone you’ve never met. And somehow, you’re both the strongest and the softest you’ve ever been.

Years from now, your little one will see these photos and notice your growing belly.

But I hope you see something different.

I hope you remember how the water felt against your skin.
How the sun wrapped around you that evening.
How beautiful you were before you even realized it.
How loved this little soul already was.

These aren’t just maternity photos.

They’re proof that, before you became someone’s mom…
you were a woman with dreams, with strength, with tenderness, and with a story worth remembering.

If you’re looking for perfectly posed photos, I may not be the right photographer.

But if you want your motherhood to feel like art…
I’d be honored to tell that story

I love how San Francisco City Hall never feels the same.
It’s always the same space… but it shifts with every couple, every story.

I + F brought this lightness with them.
The kind that makes everything feel easy.

They laughed without holding back, moved without overthinking, and just let the moment be what it was.
And I didn’t want to interrupt that.

So I followed their rhythm.
Let things unfold instead of shaping them too much.

There’s something beautiful about trusting the in-between and that’s where their story lives.

Not in perfection,
but in the feeling of it all.
