this week has not been what i expected at all. i felt like i was going through the motions for a few days and not really living in the present. i was in a skit where my team and i performed everyday several times a day and i was not 100% comfortable with my role because it was so far off from who i am but i was reminded that it isn’t about me and who i am but how God will use this character to communicate His love and grace. i was put on the spot by my pastor to share my testimony with a group of students that we visited. i prayed with , and then performed before sharing a bit of my story. the whole performance while trying to remember what i was doing i told God i was completely not ready to do this and i don’t even know what to say. as soon as i began to share my story with those around me i no longer felt anxious or inadequate. i’m pretty sure i even tried to make a joke🤷🏼‍♀️. the point is God used my story to speak to someone else. i was reminded after a conversation with a girl who spoke to me after i shared my testimony that God equips us in every circumstance to bring Him honor and glory. it isn’t about me, it is about glorifying God in all my actions and doing what He has called me to do. basically what i’m trying to say is i had every opportunity to say no and not share my story and that would have only made me feel comfortable. i would have told God no and then missed an opportunity to share Christ. God doesn’t always call us do things that we are comfortable with. whether it was playing a certain character in a skit or sharing my testimony with a group students God put it on my heart to start being comfortable with being uncomfortable. •
And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them.
