Sometimes you just need to spend time by the ocean + make photos for fun. 〰️

Made these photos a little over a week ago with my compact (Sony RXV100) and didn't really know what to do with them since I've made photos like these so many times before, but then I remembered I have a Photoblog I've been neglecting (mind's been very full, hence much-needed ocean visit) and so these photos ended up there. As serious as photography is for me, I'm very grateful I still get to have fun with it.

Summer arrived in spring with a March heat wave, so naturally, Ocean Beach was one of the "hottest" places to be. 😆 Some photos on the Photoblog from a quick visit to the beach.

The saying goes, "Nature does not hurry..." and I'm going with the flow. 〰️

A couple weeks ago, I went on a little nature walk. Everything has been a lot, to say the least. Between staring at a screen for edits and another screen doomscrolling, the restlessness building meant it was time to go wander outside. I didn't mean to make a Photoblog post out of it, but that's what happens when you always have a camera and making photographs is grounding for you. These are just a few of the photos that were published, but the rest can be seen on jamiebalaoro.com/blog ✨
