Hey, previous CMP clients! 👋🏻 check your email!

It is with many bittersweet feelings I announce that I am officially retiring my professional portrait business in Wisconsin for the foreseeable future. Since moving out of state in April 2022, it’s become obvious that my business as I built it and you’ve known it, cannot coexist with my flight attendant lifestyle here in Denver. I simply can’t give 100% of my vision for what my clients deserve and the standard I wish to hold my business to from 900 miles away. That has been a hard pill to swallow, as I truly adore all the memories we made and captured together in my beautiful home state. Thank you all for your support of me and my art over the years, and of this new journey I’m on. Even if you were never my client, your word of mouth, likes and shares have meant the world to me. This business was my stepping stone to a new career and I’m so full of gratitude for that.

I’m not giving up on photography, my camera will be coming with me on my travels! I hope to create art, chase human connection, tell stories and inspire in a new and free way that fits my lifestyle and brings me joy again. For now, my business name/social media pages will remain but it’s in its cocoon stage of becoming something new. Stay tuned for the metamorphosis 🦋

To my previous clients — as a courtesy, I’ve reopened all galleries from Fall 2019 - Summer 2023 for one last opportunity to download images and make any print purchases. Please check your email for details and reach out with any questions, especially if you did not receive an email. All galleries will expire on 4/14/2024. All purchases and downloads should be made by 4/13/2024. Thank you all for your support and understanding!

Kaylie | RCHS class of 2024

It’s been quiet over here at CMP! 👀 I took a much needed, long hiatus from photography after my last senior season. I learned quickly how difficult it is to juggle both a photography business and my demanding schedule as a flight attendant here in Denver. Traveling back and forth and finding the time to edit on the go was nearly impossible. So, when Kaylie and her mom Kristin reached out to me about senior photos (and told me I was the only photographer they wanted 🥹 like what?? SO sweet!) I was hesitant but I knew I had to make time for them. I absolutely adore these two and they were so fun to shoot with! This session really brought the joy back to photography for me after a jam packed schedule last year and to be totally honest — complete burn out. Sometimes it’s important to listen to your body, your mind and your spirit. If those things are no longer aligned and no longer well — a break is needed and so important for our health. I’m back and I’m happy to share these beautiful images with you! Kaylie, you are an absolute natural behind the lens and in real life — she radiates just as bright! ✨ Thank you for this wonderful session and enjoy your senior year! 💛🌻

A sneak peak from Alan’s senior session 🍂🍁 golden hour looks even better on those fall colors!
I’d like to thank the Pomering family for purchasing Alan’s session from the silent auction at The Ben Huebsch Fundraiser in February 💚 I have been looking forward to reconnecting with these guys since then. My friend Leah and I babysat Alan and his brother a few times when they were kids...hard to believe he’s a senior 🫠 I think that makes me a little too grown 😅 Congratulations, Alan and enjoy your senior year! 🎓

Gabby was the winner of my 2022 Prom Show Giveaway! I was so excited to finally photograph this sweet girl 🥰 we kept the fall vibes rolling and I absolutely love how these turned out! Obsessed with this country girl’s flare jeans and cowgirl boots 😍👏🏻

Here comes fall 😍🍁🍂
I say it every year, but September is one of my favorite months to shoot in. We can achieve summer and fall looks as the season begins to change and the foliage follows. This was one of my favorite looks from Tekla's session. 🧡 We had so much fun exploring La Valle, WI and her family's lake home near Lake Redstone! I love that Tekla chose such a special place to commemorate this special time in her life. Here's to you, class of 2023! 🎓

What a beautiful evening with the Newkirk gals! I just love when I get to do multiple siblings senior sessions. Elise had a great support system with her mom and two sisters assisting with the laughs 😉 I also have to give a special thanks to Julie Huth at Robins Nest Country Gifts & Flowers, LLC for making our sunflower dreams come true! What a perfect touch to this dreamy field of wildflowers 🌻😍 can't wait to share more from Elise's session!

We had a unique opportunity to shoot Paige's senior session at The AD German Warehouse designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. What a beautiful historic site with the most incredible natural light! Looking forward to sharing so much more 😍

What a perfect night we had for Erica's senior session! I especially love that I was able to capture the beautiful sunset colored clouds in the reflection of the Pine River 😍 this look really summarized Erica's style and personality so well; simple, sweet and bubbly! 💜

I also want to take a moment to give a well deserved shoutout to Erica's mom, Kara, who really did the most for us! She was so helpful in handling my reflector (and making sure I didn't leave it behind 😂)...it truly takes a team to get the perfect shot!

And to ALL the senior mamas who not only tag along on their senior's shoots, but go above and beyond to help me and the entire process -- thank you! It is so special when parents are involved in this memory for their senior. 💛

I wanted to edit Alana's entire gallery the minute I got home from her session last night, but only time for one quick sneak peak! Narrowing down a favorite was difficult, even as we were shooting we seemed to love the next even more than the last. 😍

I have driven by the Nelson family's wheat field for years, dreaming of shooting this exact concept in my mind. Finally, I had the opportunity last evening and I was so giddy! 🌾✨ We had incredible landscapes all around the Nelson family farm, photos Alana expressed will be very sentimental to her grandmother especially. I love when seniors tie in special places, people and things that mean the most to them. 💛

Thank you for your hospitality, Nelson family and for kicking off the start of my senior portrait season! I have SEVEN seniors this year!! 💃 I can't tell you how happy that makes me. My own senior session is what sparked my love for photography and it's always been my absolute favorite to photograph. 🥰

Kayla said "yes" to John in the backyard of her parent's home. Little did she know it'd be the very spot she said "I do", too! 💕 There's something special about intimate backyard weddings. In a place with so much meaning, with people that mean so much. This wedding was perfect in every way and I'm so grateful to have been invited to capture all the fun. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Schmitz! 💗💍

A bit of an overshare on this sneak peak, but when I say this session gave me life...ya'll, the Fargen family came to have the best dang time!!! ☺️ I've never giggled so hard, these kiddos were an absolute hoot! 🤪😂 Sessions like these fill my heart with joy and remind me I have the best job in the world 🥰

I hope everyone has enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend with family! It feels good to be home for a little while ❤️ I didn’t waste any time jumping back into photo sessions! The Simpson family came back for more and somehow Sawyer isn’t sick of my camera yet 😉 wishing him the best of luck as he heads off to boot camp in a month! (There were extra hugs and shenanigans as Jeanette and Jim relished in these moments with him). 🥰

I’m so grateful for all the military men and women who have served our country and especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We honor you today and always! ❤️💙🇺🇸
