Naomi & Grant marry in the SF courthouse, with sky-sized joy in their hearts.

Partner Photographer, Darius, captured their joy so perfectly that they decided to forego their Palm Springs wedding celebration at the Parker. Naomi later said it was more perfect than they could have ever imagined!

I’ve been contemplative for the past few months over here, taking a break from social media, and trying to take care of my soul so I can pour it into my people and my clients in the year to come. We’ve got an incredible year ahead of us - the busiest to date! In my silence and lack of posting, I’ve never gotten so many inquiries and I question how all this works. I’m gonna continue to stay off this thing for my own sanity but I can’t wait to share more work, new and old!

What is it about wild landscapes that makes creativity come alive? The more far-flung and foreign the frontier, the more inspired I feel. There is a mystery that whispers in these unfamiliar and beautiful places that is challenging to reconcile with. You can stare at the Tetons all day, or come back to Jackson a million times, yet there is something profound within that limits your capacity to fully comprehend why we are so drawn to beauty like this. Have you felt this before? It’s similar to love. If you truly know it, you can’t fully make sense of it. It’s mysterious and bigger than any of us can comprehend.

Documenting new love against the backdrop of a place as stunning as Jackson, Wyoming, sends both of these ideas on a head-on collision. I struggle to fully capture it all. Real life will always be richer than what we can experience in a two-dimensional world, but this is my attempt to let you in and give you a tiny taste of the beauty I witness.

Margaret & Lawson are gonna be heading back to this special place for their wedding in 2026, and I can’t wait to join in as a guest with a camera, dancing under the shadow of The Grand, and capturing moments their kids will treasure one day.
