For years, I’ve been fascinated by the idea that a wedding can be more than just beautiful - that it can deeply reflect the values of the people getting married.

Recently I had the opportunity to sit down with Northern California Wedding Planner Corina Beczner of Corina Beczner , whose work is rooted in a simple but powerful question:

How can we celebrate in ways that honor the people we love and the places we love?

Our conversations became the inspiration for a new article that explores practical, meaningful ways couples can plan a more sustainable wedding - without sacrificing beauty, joy, or connection.

Writing this piece also felt like coming home. Before I became a wedding photographer, I worked as a journalist, and interviewing thoughtful people like Corina reminds me how much I love telling stories that invite us to see the world a little differently.
