Martinez is a town I have never lived in, but a place where I always feel I belong. The characters and the characture are enduring and colorful. It is not perfect, just how I like it! I think giving a town an enduring body of work, locked in a sliver of time may be something I am interested in as a photographer. Perhaps one day, I will be invited to others and accommodated. What a great life that would be: an itinerant artist immortalizing places.
