Just landed in the shop: Canon AF35M.

One of the cameras that helped kick off the autofocus point-and-shoot era. When it launched, it was the world’s first lens-shutter 35mm autofocus camera, using a triangulation system with a near-infrared emitting diode to lock focus.

What people still love about it today is the fixed 38mm f/2.8 lens. Sharp, simple, and fast enough for everyday shooting without overthinking it. Load a roll, aim, and shoot.

This is the kind of camera that reminds you why point-and-shoot film photography took off in the first place.
