What a year. The fullest in all the ways.
Reflecting with SO much gratitude for everyone who shared a piece of their hearts with me, trusting me to document some of their biggest moments. I saw beautiful babies enter this world. And I left each birth hugging nurses and midwives. I saw newborns waking up to the world and settling into their families. I documented families full of love. And saw kiddos who I’ve watched grow up year after year. And I created art that I promise touched my heart as much as it did yours. 🫶🏻

It always feels like such an honor to be invited into someone’s home to photograph their lives. And then it’s multiplied when it’s that tender newborn stage. And then multiplied again when it’s another birth worker who I treasure so much - Shannon is a fellow doula and photographer who knows deeply how special these fresh newborn days are. And I couldn’t have been more thrilled that she trusted me to document them.

✨I’m currently booking pregnancy, birth and newborn sessions for 2026. You absolutely won’t regret documenting this fleeting stage.

I had a beautiful newborn session this morning and now editing, editing, editing all day everyday so my November families can get their smiling (or leaf covered) faces onto their holiday cards!

My last two 2025 birth clients had their babies this past week and I’m still reflecting on just how special this work that I get to do is. 🥰

I was there documenting when this big sister was born, and then got to be right next to her as she smiled the biggest smile, and clapped, watching her little brother come into the world. What an honor it is to witness these magnificent moments! 💗

Since I’m officially off-call for the remainder of the year, I’ve added a few more family session dates to my calendar. Reach out to book ✨

Did this family’s gallery of images include one of them all looking at the camera and smiling? Yes it did!
Is that the image that is going to feel the most meaningful to them? My guess is no… it’s more likely the ones that show just how they are ease together - how they laugh, read books, play, and just sink into each other’s love. The photos that feel like them.

I have some open spots this fall. I make the session and the prep easy and fun. And you end up with a gallery full of images that feel like you 💕

Want a little peek into how I help you choose a location?

It starts as soon as your book your session… along with a whole heap of session prep, you get my curated list of favorite locations. Including my notes on everything from ideal times of day for each spot as well as what would/wouldn’t work well for specific age groups (aka, I am not going to suggest we take your toddler who loves to run to a spot with unprotected drops). And of course I’ve also noted the backdrop it will provide. But, I’m never just looking for a “pretty” background. I’m watching for the way the light filters through the trees, where kids can move freely, and how families can settle into each other naturally.
Because the most meaningful photos are about just that - creating space for connection. 🌿✨
