Definitely felt like summer today. Took Bailey for a mani/pedi at the vet, walked Martis Valley, worked in the garden and then Emma and played with Bailey in the backyard with the hose and her pool. In a few weeks my Dad is driving the boat down from Idaho to live with meeeeeeee! I’m so stinking excited. Last year I got my dream of a dog. This year my dream of having the boat here is coming true. Let’s do this summer!!

Well Florida….you can keep the geriatric drivers, humidity, and crazy construction that takes 40 minutes to go 5 miles. But you definitely redeem yourself right here. Oh, and I will also give you Publix. Publix is freaking awesome. Lovely way to close out our day off before we’re back to the grindstone tomorrow.

Happy 1st birthday to our puppy girl! AKA Bailey/Puparito/Menace/Agent of Chaos/Hell Hound/Bitey McBiterson/ and a million more nick names. This year has been a lot of work but she’s added so much joy to our lives. Here so many, many more!

Super fitting since I just signed an offer letter with the Washoe Country Sheriff’s Office today! Starting the first of March I’ll be an LVN at their correctional facility in Reno, working 3 12 hour day shifts a week. I toured the facility last week, really loved everyone I met and will work with, and am super, super excited for this next chapter. A little over a year after surgery, here we go!

That moment you realize the house is too quiet and the puppy is nowhere in sight. Sigh. Her entire mouth was orange and I spent 10 minutes trying to scrub out the carpet. Thank God for Charlie’s Soap. She’s lucky she’s not on her way back to the rescue this morning.

When one of your besties from nursing school is an hour away from your in laws, you go! it was so great to hug your face! I miss you and look forward to seeing you again on my next trip. I’m so proud of the life you’ve created! 💕

Hell has frozen over. Emma has friends over so we’re staying in our bedroom and Matt is full on letting sleep on the bed. 😅. She is slowly but surely pushing all of the rules aside and just making the house hers.
