I FOUND MY FIRST WATCH 🤯

When I told you I had a Timex childhood, I meant it. And now have got the photographic evidence to prove it!

And can you imagine the disbelief and excitement I had when I discovered the re-issued Timex Ironman 8-Lap?? Instant order.

As a kid, I felt like a superhero when I had this watch in the wrist. As an adult, I get to feel like that kid again.

Anyone else still have their first watch?

How I think about watches and time ⏳

The whole root purpose of my photos and videos is to capture the micro moments we have with these special objects. The small interactions that happen from one moment to the next. The mini stories that weave them all together.

Ironically, time doesn’t play a role here. Seconds blend into minutes, minutes blend into hours. Abstracted, all there seems to be is a singular moment, followed by another, followed by another.

Until, eventually, I return to reality and get on with my day. Ready to capture more memories to daydream about tomorrow.

Best bang for the buck gold watches? 🤑

A sub-category of watches I’ve really grown to love collecting are watches that pack a ton of value for very little (relative) spend.

And because I’m officially in my gold era 👴🏻, I especially love finding fun and affordable gold watches!

These are 3 in my collection currently that I think a lot of people would love, if not for how badass and cool they are, then definitely for how little pressure they put on your wallet.

Note: The first two were purchased pre-owned a while ago, so the market prices have likely changed a bit over the years!
