During the process of planning a wedding, there are always moments filled with complex emotions. A quiet push and pull between hesitation and moving forward. And perhaps, it’s exactly this tension that makes us long even more deeply for something beautiful.

After the wedding, the bride shared something that truly stayed with me:

“It was just as he said, so beautiful, so full of beauty.
A day filled with tears and laughter.
A gathering of the most important people in our lives, from every chapter of who we’ve been.
It gave us the courage to express love, to say the things we don’t always know how to say.

Many people say weddings are expensive, time-consuming, and complicated.
And yes, all of that is true.
But the memories stay with you far longer than you expect.
Every single moment from that day feels irreplaceable.

We feel incredibly lucky and grateful,to have gathered our families together in both December and June,and to have friends from all over come together in one place.

A wedding feels like a gentle reminder,to cherish, and to look back at everything that brought us here.
And we’re so thankful to have had Jim Lee | Bay Area Wedding Photographer , whose work we’ve always admired,to document this day for us.

On the morning of the wedding, a pair of deer wandered quietly through the venue as if they had come to witness the day, like a gentle blessing offered by the forest itself.

Beneath the redwoods, they said yes.
Light came through the canopy in pieces.
Flowers hung mid-air.
Everything paused for just a second.

By the time the lights came on and the toasts turned into laughter, it didn’t feel like a wedding anymore. It felt like a gathering of lives that had been intersecting for years, finally sitting still for a moment to witness this one chapter begin.

Spontaneous and authentic, I avoid cookie-cutter shoots. “Using what’s at hand” is one of the core principles of how I work.
Along the way, it’s the unexpected people, moments, and details that matter most. The reflection of palm trees in a pair of sunglasses, a vintage mural on a street corner, or a small shop you happen to pass with a distinct atmosphere. These coincidences are what create a strong resonance between you and the local culture and vibe.
By weaving these chance encounters into the frame, your story naturally blends with the spirit of the place. That’s where the images gain warmth and depth. I don’t follow trends. I focus on the most interesting perspective to tell a story that is uniquely yours.

On their engagement day, they embraced the joy of sweating it out under the sun.
On their City Hall day, they learned how to make quiet promises.
And today, two languages, two families, two different upbringings
find their way into the same rhythm, moving toward the same future.

A red veil gently covers the bride’s face.
An uncle lifts the garlands high in the air.
To truly see each other, you first have to be willing to be momentarily hidden.
In the end, they held hands and shaped the same heart.

Three times now, we have documented their story this year.
From planning to makeup, every detail arrived exactly where it needed to be.
A wedding built on real teamwork. On trust that ran both ways.

Some people remember a summer because of a match.
Some people walk through many seasons because of love.
The World Cup will end, and scores will be forgotten,
but those nights watching the game together,
those moments running side by side,
will slowly become part of everyday life.

她愛 Japanese Garden 的寧靜建築，也迷戀 Chinese drama 的含蓄與浪漫，於是有了旗袍、有了紙傘、有了在唐人街許願樹下寫下的那個「我們」。

從繁華的小店，到靜謐的庭園，再到海浪拍打礁石的邊緣，
他們不只是拍一輯照片，更像是在不同文化之間，慢慢找到屬於彼此的語言。

當城市的標誌輕輕入鏡，這段故事，也自然落在了舊金山的風裡。
海浪在他們腳下退去，他們用翻越礁石的勇氣留下了國家地理雜誌般壯闊的景色。

She loves the tranquil architecture of Japanese gardens, and is equally drawn to the subtlety and romance of Chinese dramas.
And so came the red outfits, the paper umbrella, and that moment beneath the wishing tree in Chinatown where they wrote down their shared “us.”

From bustling little shops to serene gardens, and then to the edge where waves crash against rugged rocks, this was more than just a photoshoot, it felt like they were slowly—dheere dheere—discovering a language that belongs only to them, somewhere between cultures.

As the city’s iconic landmarks quietly slipped into the frame,
their story naturally settled into the winds of San Francisco.
With the waves receding beneath their feet, they turned the courage of climbing across the rocks into a scene as grand as something out of National Geographic.

今天是母親節。想起拍這輯的時候，牙刷、 嬰兒鞋、搶鏡的柴犬，還有那句寫在肚子上的「Almost Cooked」。
不是精心佈置的道具，只是真實生活裡的一部分。
跟著她們，在自己家裡，把這段等待的時光，輕輕記下來。
一個眼神、一個笑微笑本身，已經很美。
祝所有媽媽，母親節快樂。

Today is Mother’s Day.
It brings me back to when we photographed this session—the toothbrush, the tiny baby shoes, the scene-stealing Shiba Inu, and the words written on her belly: “Almost Cooked.”

Nothing was overly styled or arranged, just pieces of real life.
I followed them, in their own home, gently documenting this season of waiting.

A glance, a smile, just the act of smiling is already beautiful.
Wishing all moms a Happy Mother’s Day.
