If the Polestar 2 is any indication of our electric future, we have much to be excited for. This is a car that meets today’s driving demands with quiet confidence. It is ready for you as soon as you sit inside - no need to push a button to turn it on, just get in and go. It flows through traffic effortlessly, with one-pedal driving modes that can mimic the feel of a manual transmission gas-powered car, or select “Standard” mode for true one pedal operation from start to stop. The infotainment is powered by Android Automotive, which means essential apps like Google Maps are instantaneously responsive to your inputs. Everything feels stylistically grounded and purposeful. Take the frameless side mirrors, for example. They are novel, beautifully crafted, and provide excellent outward visibility. After driving a car like this, it’s tough going back.
