🍺 Happy International B**r Day!
International B**r Day was established to celebrate b**r in all its l***r, ale, stout, and sour diversity and is observed on the first of August.
Looking back through some of my favorite b**r photography projects, I'm reminded that every brand has its own personality—and capturing that is what I enjoy most.
Sometimes it's a bottle surrounded by ice with every drop of condensation perfectly placed. Other times it's a clean studio shot that lets the label do the talking, a freshly poured pint that invites you to take a sip, or an outdoor lifestyle image that captures the experience of sharing a great b**r with friends.
No two breweries are the same, and no two shoots are either. That's what keeps beverage photography interesting. Every project is a chance to create images that not only showcase the product but also tell the brand's story.
Here's to the brewers, the creatives, and everyone who appreciates a well-crafted b**r.

Bottle photography is about more than documenting a product—it's about creating an image that captures attention, reinforces the brand, and invites the viewer to imagine the experience.

In this bottle shoot, I focused on creating a clean, high-key setup that highlights the clarity of the glass, the texture of the label, and the refreshing pairing of lime and crystal glassware.

Every brand has a story—and great photography helps tell it!

For this assignment with , I had the opportunity to photograph@mainandmillbrew, capturing not only their craft b**rs but also the people.

From the vibrant color of freshly poured pints to the tasting flights and candid moments of brewers enjoying the fruits of their work, the goal was to create imagery that felt authentic, inviting, and editorially driven.

Editorial assignments like this are a reminder that commercial photography is about more than making something look good—it's about creating images that communicate personality, craftsmanship, and the experience behind a brand.

I recently found myself revisiting this black-and-white photograph from my trip to Wyoming last July, and it reminded me why I love photography. Removing color shifts the focus to the textures, light, and timeless character of a place. In this image, the old barn standing before the rugged mountains tells a story that feels just as powerful today as it did the moment I pressed the shutter.

Wyoming has a way of slowing you down. The wide-open landscapes, dramatic skies, and quiet moments make it easy to appreciate the beauty that's often overlooked.

I'd love to make it back to Wyoming someday. Until then, this image serves as a reminder of a place that left a lasting impression.
