This image won a silver distinction at the WPPI Print Competition this year.
I love photographing Sabrina. She is an actor and is so versatile and amazing. I was photographing her for a different personal project in the studio. This session was completely unplanned. I had just bought this metal sheet from Home Depot that day and wanted to see if it works on an image. My very good and immensely talented friend David Han’s metal jewelry were in the studio. So after the planned session got over, we spend about half an hour more to try this out. So glad we did!caparas : Thank you for being an awesome mentor and friend.

What a night last night at the WPPI 2020 Honors of Excellence Award Ceremony. I won a second place in the Fine Art N**e category. Thank you WPPI for this honor. It was even more special because Alistair was with me. Jon: We are so blessed to have you in our lives. Thank you for sitting through the judging from 8 in the morning so you could send the feedbacks of the critique to me since I couldn’t be there. I cannot ask for a better friend.
Erich Caparas: Thank you for being such an awesome mentor and friend.

It’s always such an honor to see my images at the WPPI gallery. This year At the 16x20 print competition, I got 2 silver distinctions and 2 silver awards.

What an amazing few days at the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) Imaging USA 2020 in Nashville - met old friends and made so many new ones. It's also been an honor to be awarded the Platinum photographer of the year, to be able to share the stage with my mentor Erich Caparas as one of the top ten finalists for the Grand Imaging Awards in the Portrait category, to see my image displayed at the IPC booth and by acrylicPress - I am so happy to be able to follow my passion and get rewarded for it. I know I have a long way to go, but this is a good start.
The whole experience was special because Alistair was there with me. Thank you Erich once again for being an awesome mentor and friend and thank you all my friends and family for believing in me.

WPE - International Photographers Awards (Second Half 2019) results are out. Two of my images got placed (1st Place in the Individuel Category and 3rd Place in the Fashion/Beauty Category). All 5 of my images scored Silver. This is my first time participating at WPE, Professional Photographers Europe Community.

Woke up to the fabulous news that one of my images was selected as part of the top 10 finalists in the general portrait category for PPA IPC’s Grand Imaging Awards to be held at Imaging USA 2020 in Nashville. It is such a huge honor to have my name out there with the top photographers in the world.

I am so excited to have won 4/4 merits at the IPC PPA (International Photographic Competition, Professional Photographers of America). 3 out of the 4 images also went to Loan Collection. This means that the images selected will be published in the esteemed PPA Loan Collection Book. That is a huge honor. This is also my first year participating in the competition and the results qualify me as a Platinum Medalist. Thank you Alistair, Erich Caparas, all my models, makeup artists, my friends and family for all your support and help. I truly appreciate it. I have a long way to go but right now, I am on cloud 9.
