I don’t know much about Sienna’s story before we rescued her. Whether she was dumped or ran away, what I do know, is that she was found, skinny, wandering the streets of Tucson, AZ by Pima County Animal Care. The amazing team there contacted a boxer rescue organization, where she was later transferred to. She then came into our lives when we attended a dog adoption event in January 2013 and the rest, you can say is history. I often think about her rescue story and am extremely thankful for everyone who played a part, whether I know them or not. These angels saved her life and, in turn, added a beauty to mine that can never be explained. So on this I urge anyone who is thinking of getting a pet to look into your local shelters or your local breed rescues - sadly there are so many overlooked animals that are just hoping for a second chance. ❤️🐶
