The last of the foggy nights from my part of town. Moving to a foggy neighborhood completely changed my photography, as someone who used to love shooting later afternoon or golden hour, I’m now growing more and more fond of shooting the interplay of light and fog. I have to be honest though, I miss the liveliness of north beach and Chinatown, I miss the sun shining into my home almost throughout the year and just the familiarity of things, and maybe I will continue to miss it. But I’m also slowly finding peace and beauty where I am now and okay with being a bit inward. I do want to get out a lot more and September and October and make most of the nicer weather to shoot more. But I have definitely been staying put this side of the city and leaving the house later than I used to because I have started enjoying photographing the foggy landscapes and the moodiness that adds to the photos.
Swipe right and tell me your favorite shot and also tell me what did you do to feel more at home once you shifted neighborhoods? I will really appreciate it.
