Don’t miss the last week of Vestige, a dual-artist exhibition featuring the striking photography of Patrick Corrigan and Hendrik Paul at The Gallery at Leica Store San Francisco!

In this collection, the natural world is not a silent backdrop, but a living repository of memory and spirit. Through Corrigan’s Kodama series, which explores spiritual traces in Japan’s rural landscapes, and Paul’s Veil of the Infinite, capturing a meditative connection to the elements, both artists invite us into a space of deep observation. Their works converge on a singular truth: the sacred center of our world lives in the land and the in-between spaces where we finally learn to listen.

Prints and the monographs by both artists are also available!

The Gallery at Leica Store San Francisco is proud to present Lost in the Funhouse, an exhibition featuring the photography of Ken Graves . Bringing together a selection of photographs shaped by wit, disorientation, and psychological tension, Lost in the Funhouse reflects on the instability of contemporary life and the strange theater of American culture.

Graves’ photographs embrace the absurdity, humor, and contradictions embedded within everyday life. Moving through landscapes of spectacle, performance, and unease, his images reveal a world shaped by illusion, confusion, and emotional dislocation, where meaning feels fragmented and uncertain. Yet rather than retreat from chaos, Graves transforms it, shaping moments of tension, irony, and visual excess into compositions that are incisive, unsettling, and deeply human. Beneath the humor and disorder lies an artist acutely attuned to the strange choreography of American life, carefully containing instability and transforming it into something enduring.

Lost in the Funhouse celebrates Ken Graves not only as a remarkable photographer, but as an original American artist whose work continues to resonate with striking relevance today. These photographs invite viewers into a world where humor and uncertainty intertwine, and where the camera becomes both witness to and architect of the strange spectacle of modern life.

Lost in the Funhouse is curated by Eva Lipman .lipman.graves and the team at the Gallery at Leica Store San Francisco. The new book by Ken Graves is coming this Fall published by TBW Books .

Please join us for an artist reception on Thursday, June 25, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. RSVP link in bio.

Join us on Thursday, June 18 at 6:00 PM PDT for an art evening at Leica Store San Francisco!

We’re thrilled to host an artist conversation between artist Eric Ruby .ruby and Allie Haeusslein , Curator of Photography and Student Art at SFO Musem ! The discussion will center on Ruby’s new exhibition Kamper Sweet Kamper at SFO Museum and his latest publication with Nocturno , Stone Soup, a compelling visual meditation on drought, climate change, and the quiet tensions that define contemporary life in the American West.

From 2015 to 2018, Eric Ruby lived on a farm in Sonoma County, about forty-five miles north of San Francisco, in a small 1960s Forester travel trailer he affectionately called “the Kamper.” What began as a practical relocation for a job in photographer Jim Goldberg’s North Bay studio ultimately became the foundation for a photographic project. Kamper Sweet Kamper offers a glimpse into this rural interlude through Ruby’s carefully observed scenes. Both serendipitous discoveries and deliberately staged vignettes reveal how he used the camera not merely to document his surroundings, but to understand them—to form a relationship with an unfamiliar landscape and those who shared it.

* RSVP is required, seating will be available on a first come first serve basis. Conversation will begin at 6:30pm, and will be followed a book signing with Eric Ruby.

Images by Eric Ruby:
1. Late Summer Harvest Still Life, 2016
2. Summer Solstice View at Night, 2016
3. Abe the Turkey. 2017
4. Equinox View in the Early Morning, 2016
5. Stone Soup, 2025. Published with Nocturno

On April 16, 2026, we proudly premiered Vestige, an evocative dual-artist exhibition by Patrick Corrigan and Hendrik Paul !

In this collection, the natural world is not a silent backdrop, but a living repository of memory and spirit. Moving beyond the surface of the landscape, both artists listen to the unseen forces that shape our existence. In their visions, the earth ceases to be a mere subject and becomes a relative. It is a vessel for both the lingering echoes of human habitation and the primordial pulse of the universe.

Vestige is on view now through June 13, 2026. Collector prints and limited artist books by both artists are available. Please contact the gallery for more information!

Now on view!

The Gallery at Leica Store San Francisco is proud to present Vestige, a dual-artist exhibition featuring the photography of Patrick Corrigan and Hendrik Paul !

In his series Kodama, Patrick Corrigan explores the spiritual traces within Japan’s rural landscapes. The title, meaning “tree echo”, refers to the spirits believed to inhabit ancient trees. Moving through the porous boundary between absence and presence, Corrigan reveals quiet evidence of human life in weathered paths and signs of habitation by time. These works form a spiritual ecology where memory and place converge, inviting us to encounter a landscape that feels both alien and deeply familiar.

Complementing this is Hendrik Paul’s Veil of the Infinite. Through years spent slowing down, Paul captures a meditative connection to the elements, from the strike of lightning to the rhythm of the tide. His photographs trace an internal journey that begins grounded in the soil and transcends into a state where horizons dissolve. These images are not answers, but traces of time spent in silence, echoing the luminous darkness of the night and the delicate interplay between presence and infinity.

Corrigan and Paul invite the viewer into a space of deep observation. Whether through the tree echoes of a mountain village or the cosmic exhalation of a storm, their works converge on a singular truth: the sacred center of our world lives in the land, the tides, and the in-between spaces where we finally learn to listen.

Please join us for an artist reception on Thursday, April 16, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. RSVP link in bio.
