VIVIENDO LA VIDA
“Living the Life”
The past couple months have been an interesting mix of ups and downs, such goes the never ending wave of life. Fortunately memories of the ups are remaining and the downs are fading quickly.
I’ve finally arrived in La Cruz, the planned place for playtime, friends, and relaxation from this last years hard work.
I’m feeling very lucky to be forging new friendships, blessed to be strengthening established ones, and proud of myself for cutting ties to situations that in the past would have manipulated and hurt me.
The loss of a close friend still feels like a fresh wound inside sometimes, but it is keeping present for me how special this life journey is and to cherish the times I have with my close people because any one of them may be the last.
I have seen more sunrises while here than anywhere else last year. It brings me motivation and is stoking my fire to accomplish more and more of my set intentions.
I’m still driven, but just out of gear for the time being in order to go with the flow. I may post a little or I may post a lot. My goal is to be authentic, so I will let the moments decide what feels right.

Grateful.
For everything that has brought me to this point in my life. To be able to travel, explore, and fill my soul with new experiences via my floating home was just a dream for so long and it still makes me stop in surprise often to know that it’s really happening.
It’s not always easy, in fact it’s a lot more work than the average life on land, but the rewards are SO much greater! I mean, just look where I’m at in this photo! This was a special moment for me, being able to look down at my little sailing turtle shell that holds all my worldly possessions and feel “home” in this new place, gave me such a sense of peace.
I just want to say thank you to all the friends and family(present & passed) who have loved and encouraged me along the way. This journey started as one boy’s dream long ago and has evolved into this man’s community supported reality 🙏🏼 I love you all.
And to those that have passed on (and are still checking instagram in the spiritual realm 😆) I hold you close in my heart and will always remember your encouraging words. I hope to honor you with my life and will continue to live the most epic story that I can 🤙🏼

Hey friends and other humans of Instagram! A little solar soul.
And that deck!
Now that we’re back in the Bay we’ve been getting more dew on deck through the nights and it’s been a awesome joy to start seeing the rich teak color come out more and more.
It had been warped and neglected for so long I had no idea what to expect of the outcome when I started the project, but damn, I’m really happy with the results!
Thankfully that project can rest for a long while, now it’s time to enjoy it and spill wine on it with friends! Shout out to Max Mr. Million!🌬💨🍷😄 I say it adds character and it’s like a tattoo of the memory onboard🤘🏼

Sailor tip for living a fulfilling life #586: Always cease the opportunity to raft up with friends and do life afloat together for a little while. And if not in the Arctic, do canon balls off the boat after a long night of festivities....hell, even if you are in the Arctic do the canon balls, we only get to make so many splashes in this lifetime so use em while you got em! 💦 🤘🏼
