Starting a foray into macro photography! 📸 It has been a bit of a learning curve so far. I did not realize how difficult it would be to get the subject in focus! I have taken lots of photos, but have very few keepers. 😅

I've found that nature and wildlife photography tends to be pretty seasonal. Different times of the year are good for different things. There's a time for short-eared owls, fox kits, owlets, buntings on sunflowers, warblers, etc.... right now? For me, it's time for hummers!

So fair warning... there might be a lot of hummingbird pictures incoming! 😂

One more attempt (I think 😂) at capturing the transition to totality. I wasn't quite satisfied with my composite from yesterday, so I tried an overlapping version instead. I think I like this one much better! I hope you enjoy it!
