As someone who has been going to Yosemite most of my life and now a Yosemite elopement photographer, it’s the best feeling to show couples around one of my favorite spots on earth.
Here are a couple of my top picks for places to visit while eloping in Yosemite.
⛰️ Taft point - This spot is iconic for a reason. It has some of the best views of the valley from up high and it’s my personal favorite location for a sunset in the park.
💧 Cathedral beach - This is a great location to say your vows as it’s usually a bit less crowded and calm. Come here in November to get a perfect reflection and fall colors!
💦 The Mist Trail - This is a must-do hike while visiting Yosemite. It’s one of the most popular trails in the park but don’t let that stop you from enjoying the views! Best to do this in the spring and summer when Vernal falls is flowing!
🌱 Cook Meadows - another iconic place in the park good for wandering around by the Merced river, frolicking through the valley, and taking in views of Half Dome and Yosemite falls.
