Ironglass Mark II Soviet Rehoused Lenses, the character of Soviet optics with modern functionality.

We’re happy to have another set of vintage glass at Videofax. These Soviet-era lenses bring character to the Zeiss optical designs they are based on: dreamy flares, swirly bokeh, and painterly textures.

The Mark II rehousing by is a major improvement, our AC’s and DP’s have been impressed by the quality of the construction and design.

We are excited to have another set of iconic stills lenses in our shop. Before we acquired the lenses they were selected from a large collection of FD’s to match as closely as possible.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and our friends from Sony and Fujinon last Friday as they presented Sony’s latest CineAlta camera, the Burano, and Fujinon’s new 24-300mm Duvo lens.

Big news — our own Burano is now in the shop! We are excited to support another CineAlta camera on the prep floor.

Teradek Bolt 6 — 6Ghz wireless, 12G-SDI, 4K HDR, 5000+ ft.

Those are a bunch of numbers and letters that say that our new Teradek system does more than older generations of wireless video.

6Ghz wireless operates outside of the common 5Ghz range that competes with so many wireless devices. Additionally, uou can switch to the 5Ghz range for compatibility with the previous-generation of Teradek 4K devices, too.

You can now link up to 6 receivers to any Bolt 6 transmitter, or an unlimited amount when using Broadcast mode with our Bolt 6 MAX transmitter.

12G-SDI-inputs open up the option to deliver 4K HDR images to monitors like our SmallHD Cine 24 or Cine 13.

All of our receivers and receivers can include dual-sided gold mount passthrough power plates for easy builds on monitors and cameras.

The ALEXA 35’s PDM-1 has plenty of power options… if you happen to have 3-pin Fischer cables.

Fortunately, we just had a few 3-pin cables made to include with our ALEXA 35 kits. We know a guy.

Prestons, Teradeks, monitors — plenty of devices accept both 12V and 24V power now, but you should always confirm compatibility before plugging in!
