first trip to the pumpkin patch🎃

I used to dream of the day I got to take my baby to do things like this – it's even better than I could have imagined.

I remember when I was SO afraid that having kids was going to mean I'd have to stop traveling...

Happy to report that's a bunch of BS and you can absolutely show your kids the world with a little extra planning & a lot more coffee.

Being a business owner & a mom & a wife (& Winnie would be sad if I didn't say dog mom too) take up ALL of my time these days so posting on here hasn't been as much of a priority but I have so so much new knowledge and learned experience from Brooks' first few months of life and traveling with him that I can't wait to share with you guys 🤍

My audience has shrunk quite a bit in the last year due to different content and not showing up as much and I'm SO happy to have those of you here who still want to be!!!

Been slowing finding our groove as parents & starting to get back to doing things we loved before becoming "mama & dada"! Here are some pics from the last few weeks doing things like wine tasting in Sonoma, walks to the park, watching get crowned as Miss Arizona USA, hanging out at the airport, snuggles at home with Winnie, earthquakes games, watching the sunset in Greece and attending weddings! It's been busy but oh so fun🫶🏼

We've almost had our sweet baby Brooks for half a year and sometimes I still can't think about the first couple of months. They rocked my world. My traumatic birth experience + brooks coming 4 weeks early + week long hospital stay that included time for me in the ICU and away from my newborn took the joy out of having a baby and navigating motherhood for the first time and I still feel so sad about that. Now that I'm starting to feel a little more like myself again, we're making up for lost time!

How I'm doing postpartum:
- I'm back to playing soccer and having SO much fun with it! Honestly wishing I could add two more nights of it to the week.
- My hair has been falling out for the past 6 weeks but it's also been growing really fast so it's getting thinner & longer.
- I'm still breastfeeding but not exclusively. Pumping hasn't really been great for me (both in terms of effectiveness and mental health) so I haven't done much of it. We started supplementing with formula about 2 weeks ago for the days when I don't feel like pumping, don't have enough milk stored or am feeling anxious about it! I feel so much better about using both! *FED IS BEST*
- Brooks goes down at 730pm giving Bloo and I our evenings back and I love that time with just him & Winnie so much even if all we do is watch a show together!

What brooks has been up to lately:
- we started baby led weaning & have introduced several foods to him! So far he LOVES watermelon, wheat bread, peanut butter and bananas. He likes broccoli, oatmeal and berries and he's ehh about avocados.
- He got his first passport stamp in Greece! ✈️
- He loves bath time and swimming at the pool.
- He's still keeping his laugh a secret from us

Thanks for following along🫶🏼

Greece over the years.

Who knew this place would turn out to be such a special one for us! The first is right now (2023), the second is during our honeymoon (2021) and the third is our first time after a month long backpacking trip (2016). Can't wait to come back throughout our lives and continue to watch how things evolve🤍🇬🇷

Okay so get this... it's supposed to be 80 degrees this weekend in San Jose!!!!!! I know it's only for a day but I'll take what I can get. I absolutely love winter feeling like winter with all the rain and snow we've gotten this year but man, I'm ready to step back into my sun lizard lifestyle for a few months 🤘🏼😜🌞

HAPPY SATURDAY✨ The sun is out and it feels so springy — I'm currently basking in the sun which feels amazing after such a stormy winter. If you're looking for something to do this weekend, I've put together a list of my favorite ways to view the Golden Gate Bridge!

1. Fort Point: This historic fort is located directly under the Golden Gate Bridge and offers a unique perspective of the iconic structure.

2. Crissy Field: A popular spot for picnics and outdoor activities, Crissy Field also provides stunning views of the bridge from afar.

3. Baker Beach: This beautiful beach is known for its picturesque sunsets and breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

4. Golden Gate Park: The park is home to several vantage points that offer panoramic views of the bridge, including the De Young Museum and the Japanese Tea Garden.

5. Hawk Hill: This overlook, located in the Marin Headlands, provides a bird's-eye view of the bridge and the San Francisco Bay.

6. Battery Spencer: Another popular overlook in the Marin Headlands, Battery Spencer provides stunning views of the bridge and the city skyline.

7. Lands End: This scenic trail along the coast offers breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean.

8. Twin Peaks: At the top of these two hills, visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the entire city, including the Golden Gate Bridge.

9. Alcatraz Island: Take a tour of this historic prison and enjoy stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge from the water.

10. The San Francisco Bay Ferry: Take a ferry ride across the bay and enjoy unparalleled views of the bridge and the city skyline.

This time last year I took a solo trip to Spain to meet my best friend & her hubby and photograph their elopement! I can't believe it's already been a year and SO much has changed in life!

Literally still have so much content from this trip I haven't shared — and just from last year in general! Time to play a little catch up from my travels before things pick back up again this year😛

Next up, a little trip to LA. What's on your agenda next??

Starting this weekend I'll be on the road more than I'll be home through mid-October😱 85% of it is for work ( ) but in many of the places I'm trying to stay at least an extra day or two to slow down and enjoy where I'm at 🌞

First up, San Diego... then Arnold, Bass Lake, Sequoia NP, Kauai, San Diego, Arnold, Tahoe, SLO, Toronto, French Polynesia, Iceland (hopefully🤞🏼) and finishing with Sedona to end the wedding season with a bang💥

Can't wait to get back out there & adventure and hopefully I'm not dead by the time I finish🤪🤪🤪
