To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower
To hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour

At this moment in our shared human history, it is important more than ever to be appreciative and show gratitude to those working day and night to not only treat the sick, but those who go above their line of duty to keep things running.

No matter what disaster may ever befall us, there will always be people inclined to selflessly help others.

Golden State of Mind

It was around 8PM Friday night that I got an alert forecasting low fog along the coast. Mornings, where the fog is low enough to see the towers peaking from the fog, are rare. Since I was in LA at the time, I took the gamble and packed up my gear, and called multiple Heli companies to which 1 said yes to a last minute flight. I got in my car and drove 7 gruelling hours to Sonoma to take-off. As we were flying, I witnessed one of the most incredible sunrises I've ever seen. And best of all, I got it from every perspective!

So this happened a couple days ago...

I've been to the Golden Gate bridge a LOT of times and due to the unpredictability of the climate in SF, I'd always come to a completely fogged out view of the bridge. Luckily, since October is the best month, I decided to take the 1 hour journey up to SF while keeping tabs on the weather.

Just as I got there a bank of fog was streaking across the Golden Gate Bridge. I found it kind of odd there weren't many people here and it was comfortably warm. But it was a really fun to watch the scene change literally minute by minute. Watching the fog do it's dance into the bay and hearing the ominous fog horn sound was awesome. Nothing beats spending an evening above fog watching the city. It really does make you feel like you are on top of the world.
