Announcing SUNSET LANDSCAPE & MILKYWAY photography Workshop. JULY 10th, Saturday, 2021.

Dear Art lover,
Wanted to bring to your attention that I will be doing a photography workshop (5th year) focusing on coastal landscapes and Milkyway. I have chosen one of the best in the region, Bixby Creek bridge along highway 1. This place is the photographer's dream land for sunsets. Rugged terrain, rocky cliffs, crashing waves, water falls, beaches.. to name a few. It is also one of the best place with least amount of light pollution, which is a blessing for astro-photography.

What you will be learning:
-------------------------------
1. ART aspects of composition, angle, timing, creating depth etc.,
2. TECHNICAL aspects of camera setting, use of filters, panorama creation, high dynamic range and good techniques to get sharp images.
3. NIGHT photography techniques. Focusing, composition, noise reduction.
4. Planning for POST PROCESSING. Compositing, image stacking,

You will begin with sunset landscape, progressing continuously towards, golden hour, blue hour and finally to dark skies to capture wonderful MilkyWay.
You may also consider joining a follow up workshop for learning software post processing to enhance the images. Lightroom, Photoshop and other image stacking software will be discussed.

Who is it for:
-------------------
Both beginners and intermediate skill photographers can participate. Beginners will learn techniques of composition, camera setup and post processing. Intermediate, will learn about noise reduction techniques, image stacking, stitching for creating panorama, light painting, time lapse etc.,

Photo Gear:
---------------
Any DSLR camera with wide angle and a sturdy tripod will do the job.
For Full frame: 24mm is wide angle (for example 24-70mm lens)
For cropped sensor: 18mm is wide angle (for example 18-55mm lens)
Sturdy tripod, Photo filters/polarizers if you want to learn/experiment the best use of them.

FEES: $119/person (plan for 4 hours on the field)
DATE: 07/10/2021 (Saturday: 7:30pm-11:30PM)
