Hard to believe the first time I photographed this beautiful young lady was 15 years ago when she was sleeping in a car seat. So honored to photograph portraits for her upcoming quince 💚 Love this family to pieces

2025 was one of my busiest years. And judging from my 1 post, it wasn’t because of photography. Juggling teaching, a business, and motherhood hasn’t been easy but I’m so grateful that I can continue doing the work I love, while still being present with the people I love. To all my longtime clients (and a few new ones this year), thank you for checking in despite my radio silence. Here’s a few from 2025 that I never got around to posting…cheers to an equally amazing 2026

2024 was the best year yet. And probably the most exhausting 😅 Had a lot of gems to pick from, but here a few that tell our story without revealing Iris’ adorable face. Here’s to an equally blessed 2025 💕

Always fun photographing my nephews at the end of the year. A plus that Overfelt Gardens is practically their backyard. It’s been a joy watching them grow up. Their sibling love is everything 💚

Got a couple mini sessions in on a weekend in November this year. When I do my portraits lesson, I always tell my students to try and shoot for an hour. That way the model gets comfortable and they can get a variety of shots. But sometimes, 20 mins is all you need 🙂

Not how I expected “did you want to sit on a log” to go 🤣. I didn’t give them any direction whatsoever and just rolled with it. But it ended up being one of my favorite photos from the session…love this family’s closeness and their ability to laugh at each other. I had so much fun photographing this one!

After teaching teenagers who are married to their cell phones all week, it’s refreshing to photograph kiddos running, climbing trees, and just being their uninhibited selves on the weekends. Slowly doing photo sessions again after the pregnancy/newborn hiatus. Like riding a bike 😁
