The Vietnamese Tet Trung Thu (Mid-Autumn Moon Festival) is a celebration after the harvest season and revolves around children. The children can be seen carrying beautiful colored lanterns at night. The signature food item during this celebration is the Banh Trung Thu (moon cake). While there are several varieties to suit everyone's unique taste, the traditional moon cake contains egg yolk in the center to represent the moon.

I had the pleasure of photographing Han Nguyen several months ago and wanted to share this specific photo, which happens to fit very nicely with this weekend's theme because of the lantern she is holding. I believe that women still love lanterns because their inner child inside never really fully grew up... and they never should. This weekend, let the inner child out and enjoy Tet Trung Thu!

It was so much fun to watch the San Jose State University Vietnamese Student Association (SJSU VSA) 2017 Cultural Show, The Cruelty of Fate. The students put in a lot of time and effort producing and all of the time they put into rehearsing paid off. It was a great show. If you didn't see it this year, be sure to come out and show your support next year. Here are just some of the photos from yesterday's show.

Minnie Uyen Thai and the United Wholesale Flowers team have changed up their showroom to feature a wide array of products that designers will need to build latest trends in floral arrangements. If you haven't been by their warehouse lately, you will be pleasantly surprised at the huge selection and high quality of products.

United Wholesale Flowers has transformed their warehouse into a winter wonderland and are ready for a fun filled weekend with Santa. This video gives you a sneak peek into what's in store for you and your little ones this Saturday and Sunday! Minnie Uyen Thai and her team have outdone themselves again!

Had the pleasure of working with Chopsticks Alley today. The Ladies of Chopsticks Alley never disappoint. They are naturals in front of the camera!

The Ladies of Chopsticks Alley paused for some fun photos after their talk on the topic of dating for Vietnamese Women. The camera sure loves them! They even got the production crew in on the fun!
