This was such a fun project to work on. I photographed 9 out of 14 of these amazing candidates and elected officials, and designed this ad... bringing together my love of photography, design, and politics all in one!

This election cycle, I've been working on 3 campaigns, photographed 13 candidates, and designed logos and ads for print and online. It's been wild and wonderful work... and I'm still running this marathon through Nov 3rd. This work in important and telling stories in this way has been incredibly fulfilling.

I met this fierce beauty this week for a family session and we took some solo photos with the last bit of this magical golden sunlight. I wanted to stretch time and photograph her for even longer. The light she shines is that of the stars, and I’m grateful to have witnessed it.

I've photographed these two since they were little ones and the oldest called me "Ms. Feather," a nickname they use to this day. They've shared so many stories with me over the years. I've photographed them through stages of such sweetness and when they've driven each other crazy and then been loving again as siblings do. They've shown me their favorite toys and outfits, and always their Halloween costumes around this time of year. We've shared many memories over the years and I look forward to more to come.

This year, I got to see them care for their horses, and it was beautiful. These two dear ones who are suddenly so much older this year, are so incredibly thoughtful, kind, and responsible in caring for the animals. It was so cool to witness. The world is a better place with these two beautiful souls shining in it. What a gift they are!
