Spring weddings at Riata Ranch!!!! It’s a dream to photograph every dang time 🥲

Dana & Chris are so in love 🥰

This impromptu first look with Dana’s grandmother was one of my favorite moments of the day

First look at the bunkhouse!

Was so sweet and emotional

Followed by personal vows, witnessed by their wedding party!

And then the ceremony with all the guests!

I will never get tired of guests sitting the lawn at cocktail hour, with the sprawling oaks as a backdrop

When I say fun people attract other fun people, I am probably talking about Chris and Dana’s family and friends

Running through the fields at golden hour is always a highlight at Riata 🥲

Taylor and Daniel incorporated a Chinese Tea Ceremony into their night before celebration and it was one of the most special things we’ve ever gotten to witness!

It gave Taylor and Daniel a really sweet opportunity to intentionally connect with so many of their family members before the weekend really got under way, and it was a gift to be able to play fly on the wall for these moments! It really brings me back to the encouragement I love to give couples— intentionally set aside time for connection with each other (duh) and everyone you’ve chosen to gather around you during the weekend. It goes fast. 💓

Part TWO of Ava and David’s downtown slo wedding day!!!

(Not me posting this literal months after part one 🫪)

To recap! After an intimate backyard ceremony with immediate family and wedding party, we all headed over to Dallidet Adobe for a slow and intentional cocktail hour with everyone! Followed by dinner and toasts (and raps) in this stunningly magical faerie garden setting!!!

The most fun people!!

This is why music matters.

Your guests will remember a packed dance floor. They’ll remember the songs everyone screamed at the top of their lungs. The moment your friends pull each other in because the next track is too good to sit out.

That kind of energy doesn’t happen by accident.

It comes from a DJ who can read the room, build the energy, and know exactly when to switch it up.

It should feel like the party everyone was hoping for!

We are offering sessions here in the desert until April of 2027, and after that, we are out 👋🏻
