This weekend reminded me why I do what I do.

I love good design, but it’s not just beautiful flowers, the thoughtful details, or the way the light falls at sunset.

But what keep me loving this craft is the joy that fills a room when two people love each other so deeply they can’t wait to stand in front of everyone they care about and say: this is my person.

To invite family and friends to bear witness to a promise. To celebrate not only where they are today, but everything that brought them here and everything still ahead.

Watching Stefan and Lizzie this weekend felt like being invited into something bigger than a wedding day. Their warmth was contagious. Their joy never needed to be manufactured. It was already there. In every smile, every glance, every person around them.

Those are the moments that remind me this work has never really been just about photographs.

It’s always been about people. Giving them the gift of memories is an
honor and a delight. Here’s to many more!

From the moment Lizzie stepped onto the property at Brindare Estate, her smile never left her face—not for a second. The kind of joy that spills into everyone around it. Warm, effortless, impossible to fake.

Your engagement session doesn’t need to be in the most epic spot you can imagine. Sometimes the best way to encapsulate your relationship is to simply do the little things that makes your every day fun.

Yes, we can work together to elevate it. But I often find that the most meaningful images are the ones that capture you most authentically.

This at-home engagement is a perfect example. A few minutes at the bar cart and a couple that enjoys each others presence (with some good light and someone who can direct the scene) is enough to make memories and photos that are worth holding on to.
