Tayten & Kooper’s wedding was so untraditional in the absolute best way and I’m so so grateful they trusted me to document something so special and so intimate. I thought I’d share with y’all what some of my favorite parts of their day consisted of!

🤍 The entire wedding felt very “them” - not trendy and not typical. Every single detail had so much personality and intention

🤍 They chose to have a very intimate meal with their family and wedding party BEFORE the ceremony - this allowed them to be fully present for the reception with their guests

🤍 The warm, earthy tones and textures throughout the venue were a freaking DREAM. Adobe walls, exposed beams, weathered wood, rustic stone, and natural light all worked together to create something magical.

🤍 The emotional first look with her dad gets me every time 😭

🤍 The blue velvet couch she used was SUCH a great styling choice - giving rich contrast against all the warm neutrals of the landscape

🤍 The reception images felt alive and authentic, and the disposable cameras on the table added a sweet nostalgia that I just loved

🤍 Their entire day was documented as it was. It was a wedding that their guests would remember not because it was extravagant, but because it had so much SOUL

I loved getting to document this day so so much. There was something so genuine about every part of it, and you could truly feel how loved these two are by their people. This wedding was proof that when you strip away expectations and create a day that reflects YOU, it becomes something unforgettable 🤍

Hey, it’s me 🤍

I’m Gabrielle - photographer, designer, homesteading mom & wife, gardener, sourdough baker, and the face behind Rockin GK Photo Co.

Thank you so much for following along here - I genuinely love what I do with every fiber of my being. There’s never a “bad day at work” for me.

My ultimate goal is to connect with my clients on a personal level and truly get to know you and your story. And to be able to tell your story, I have to know it. I love creating a gallery that feels warm, natural, detailed, and effortless.

I think a lot of how I document stories have come from the little things that have shaped the way I see people and the world around me. So here are a few little random facts about me! 💫

✨ I’m actually pretty introverted until I have a camera in my hand. I’m naturally more quiet, observant, and definitely not the loudest person in the room. The second a session starts, it’s like a switch flips and I become my alter ego 💃🏽

✨ Random things that inspire me creatively: road trips with zero real plans, canyons and sweeping landscapes, human connection, textures and movement, earthy color palettes, grainy imperfections

✨ One thing I could genuinely talk about forever is how important photos become over time. Moments that feel ordinary right now eventually become the photos people treasure most. Years ago, I had just so happened to snap a photo of my grandparents holding hands as we were walking back home from the park together. He’s been gone 4 years now. I look back on that one photo often.

✨ Some random things I love: exploring places that feel untouched, the smell of leather, people who remember little details, thunderstorms, windy days that make photos feel alive, tiny roadside diners, and places that make life feel slower

This work means so much more to me than I could ever explain. I’m so extra grateful for every person who trusts me to document their journey.

So whether you’ve been here forever or just recently found my page, I’m so so glad you’re here! 🫶🏽
