If you’re in Upstate New York, then you need to add Revolution Rail to your itinerary !!

We visited the North Creek Revolution Rail location and did the South River run along the Hudson!

This was 8 miles round trip, and at the turn around point we took a short walk down to the river to admire its beauty and relax in nature. The conductors gave us an informative lesson on the local history and ecology!

Then, we peddled back to the Rev Rail Station where we played games and grabbed coffee and a bite to eat at the coffee cart!

They had a huge gift shop and a map where you could pin where you’re from!
This location is just a short drive from Lake George, and about an hour south of Lake Placid! There are multiple other locations in the area, so check their website for more details.

Definitely add this to your upstate New York bucket list!

Our weekend in Stowe, Vermont was full of good food and drinks, hiking, shopping and relaxing in nature!

The best part of the trip was our stay at the beautiful Outbound Hotel! Outbound Stowe is an adorable boutique hotel, with a large swimming pool, hot tub, games, fire pits, a nature trail and river that runs along the property, and their East Side restaurant and bar!

There’s a large variety of rooms to choose from, and the hotel is very centrally located. It’s just minutes from downtown where you can browse the various shops, restaurants and enjoy the activities offered like pottery painting.

I summited Mount Mansfield via Long Trail and it was incredible! You can get to the top in a variety of ways, whether you want an easy hike up from the toll road, or basically rock climb up HellBrook. If you’d rather skip the hike but still get the views, you can take a Gondola ride up as well!

Bingham falls is beautiful and just a short walk downhill from the parking lot.

Stowe is an incredible place, and such a special Vermont Town in all seasons!

My favorite parts of Utah were driving down mountain roads, through fields and valleys, and across the barren salt flats.

This state has an endless variety of landscapes. They’re all so special and filled with beauty. From the wildlife, flowers, waterfalls and farms, it had me in awe.

“Must be nice” - says people who choose to waste their money on new clothes, getting their hair, nails, lashes and body done, bouji food, wasteful subscriptions, useless amazon purchases, buying new instead of used, leasing a car, over consuming, etc.

I am one of the most money conscious people I know. I don’t consider myself “cheap”, but I’m the queen of being frugal, finding good deals and only making necessary purchases, so that I can afford to travel when I want and where I want.

Also - I don’t take lavish trips. My traveling includes couch surfing, camping, cheap hotels, free stays in exchange for content, and using credit card points.

If you want something bad enough, you’ll do what it takes to get it.

All walks of life, coming together on one evening to simply enjoy themselves and watch the MLB’s best players compete in America’s greatest pastime, is something special.

Sports are so sentimental, because they bring out emotion, passion and pride. What a privilege it is to spend the night forgetting the worries of everyday life and the chaos happening in our world, and to put your focus toward having fun and be innocently entertained.
