Summer might be over, but Revolution Rail is still movinā€™ and groovinā€™ down in Cape May, NJ!

In my opinion, this is the BEST time of year to visit the Cape, and to take a ride on Rev Rail.

The air is cool and crisp, the cosmo flowers at Garrett Family Preserve are in full bloom, and the birds and pollinators are still migrating! Thereā€™s just endless beauty in nature to see during October and into November.

The 4pm ride lets you peddle down the tracks during āœØgolden hourāœØ which is the best time of the day!

So donā€™t waste any more time, keep up your October Maxxing, head down to Cape May and go take a ride with Revolution Rail! Book in advance online to guarantee your desired time slot.

Shooting animals is hard - especially ducks. Thereā€™s just something super special about ducks, and I have extra love for them that I donā€™t have towards other animals like deer.

So any day I go out and donā€™t harvest a duck, Iā€™m not mad about it.

Also, when youā€™re starting out in a hobby, you donā€™t need to get all the best bouji gear. Cheap brands on Amazon can get the job done. For me, Iā€™m only duck hunting a handful of days in the year, so Iā€™m not dropping too much money on gear. Check out the Amazon link in my bio for the gear that I do have and use!

Part 1 of my experience going solo duck hunting as a girl in Southern New Jersey!

Iā€™ve been ā€œhuntingā€ for a few years now, and this is my 4th time going out by myself. Each time I hunt, I learn something new and gain some great life lessons.

For me, itā€™s not about going out with intentions to kill animals. Yes, that is the purpose of hunting, but thereā€™s so much more to it.

Especially as a female, itā€™s incredibly important to break barriers and stereotypes in the realm of hunting. Hunting is NOT just for white men. You can be any age, color, s*x, size, background, whatever - and go out there and hunt.

Purchasing a hunting license directly supports conservation, it makes use of your 2nd amendment rights, teaches you survival skills, builds your confidence, helps you over come fear, and forces you to be comfortable with being uncomfortable!!

You donā€™t need to know what youā€™re doing, just please be safe with your fi***rm!! Itā€™s all about the journey in figuring it outšŸ¦†

The New Jersey lighthouse challenge, his happening this weekend, October 17th and 18th!

This is an annual event that takes place every October during the 3rd full weekend of the month.

There are 11 lighthouse sites, 4 life saving stations and 1 museum as part of the challenge.
