Do you know me? I was seen early this morning by a school bus driver near Boone Trail Elementary School, curled up in a ditch. I was presumed dead. After the afternoon shift, the same bus driver saw that I was still there but in a different position, so she got help from her friend to bring me to CVH. I'm suffering from a severe concussion, multiple bruises and superficial skin wounds, but also a suspected broken shoulder blade. I'm too painful to get good x-rays to confirm my injury, and I may not make it through the night, but I am comfortable and warm for now. I will be reported to Harnett County Animal control tomorrow morning, but I'm also going to need a lot of medical care over the coming weeks. Do you recognize me so my family can be found and informed about my condition?
