Spectacular find for this evening was the two bald eagles 🦅 We watched and photographed them for the longest time.

No crocodiles tonight, just one very shy gator.

Our Eastern Screech Owl babies have hatched 🦉 once they all fledge I really would like to put a camera in the owl box to see the whole process. We don’t like disturbing them so we typically will only peek inside to see how it’s going once a week or longer.

No croc last night but we did see two gators, several birds that I love - green heron, tri-colored heron, a few common gallinules and a kingfisher. Sad to say the kingfisher was too far away and light was getting dimmer so my photos did not come out. When we got home our eastern screech owl was sitting in the door of her house 🦉💕

Checking out the wild side of Sanibel Island and tonight’s golf cart ride did not disappoint - one crocodile, four gators, black crowned night heron, lots of birds and a beauty of a sunset.
