I focus on newborns, maternity and family portraits. To ensure you get the most out of any type of session, it is important to contact me early to allow for the pre-session consultation. I will make sure you know what to expect and will be able to show you some of my amazing products. This time is also a chance for you to tell me your ideas for the session which will only enhance your final produc

If you have not come up with a direction you would like the session to take, that is great too - I am happy to suggest ideas and we will talk about the best time of day, location, and clothing, for your session. Once you are in front of the camera, relax and allow me to create those moments. After our session I will present you with a gallery of 20-30 images during an in person review session and you will follow my fun step by step guide to create a package that is perfect for you.

I haven’t posted much lately.

The past year shifted me in ways I didn’t expect... both personally and professionally. I found myself slowing down, rethinking what I want this business to feel like, and remembering why I started photographing newborns in the first place.

I love babies. I love soothing them. I love watching parents soften when they see their child held gently and safely.

I also believe deeply that newborn photos are about more than the baby... they’re about the family becoming something new.

Recently, I became accredited in family and baby portraiture because I truly believe parents and siblings belong in these images. It’s not just about documenting a newborn... it’s about documenting connection.

I also love my own family deeply... and I’ve realized I can hold space for both by being more intentional.

Moving forward, I’m offering one full newborn invitation per month. Calm, unhurried, artwork-centered sessions designed to be lived with for years.

Been a little busy this holiday season making the magic happen for my littles. This time of year it really hits me how much hard work my mother put in when we were children. I wish I could thank her now and I hope she knows I appreciated it all.

This year has been particularly stressful - I oops took on more than I could actually handle without stress. But it all turned out fine even with a nail in my tire on our Christmas road trip.

Glad to be able to have this time with family and enjoy the season - both the holiday and the season of life I'm in.

10 years ago, while pregnant with my first, my father passed away of cancer. Lots of cancer but it started as esophageal. I didn't really mourn the loss - and then months later I had a baby and was dealing with a whirlwind of other emotions. In some ways I still am dealing with the loss, figuring it out, as we weren't particularly close. But when I asked him for this photoshoot, after his diagnosis, he agreed. And he agreed even though we all knew it really wasn't his thing. This was one of the last things he did for me, for us. It was a dreary day in Feb and the session didn't really go as planned but he smiled, and we laughed, and all in all the day was a beautiful memory with many photos I cherish. I'd much prefer we did this regularly and not BECAUSE he was sick, but life gets in the way sometimes.

At any rate - just a little shameless PSA - get in the photos when you can. No matter your weight, hairdo, made up face or not. This isn't what my dad always looked like but that's his smile, those are his bright eyes and I'm glad I have this moment.
