So proud of Team Tandem and our partner for our film, WILD RESCUE IMAX 3D, which received one of the top honors at the IMAX awards hosted by the Giant Screen Cinema Association. The award is one of the most important in our genre, Best Film for Lifelong Learning, competing against major Hollywood blockbusters and other extraordinary wildlife films.

This award recognizes the power of giant screen storytelling to inspire real-world impact in wildlife, science, and conservation. But the true recognition belongs to the extraordinary team at the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network, whose dedication rescues, rehabilitates, and returns wildlife to the wild every day.

As Tandem enters its mid-teen years, our 15th year in business provides much to celebrate. Like any teenager, we continue to explore who we are to the world and define our meaning.. We have emerged as a leading environmental film and photography studio that shapes brands and defines our shared story of life on Earth. We’ve added new talent and leadership to our team in 2025, more than we have in any other year in our history. We continue to believe a company is not valued by its assets, but believe it is valued almost exclusively by its people, for whom we are so thankful. We are also thankful to our overseas teams, who bring to life the myriad of development and post-production work taking place in London and the UK.

Highlights of 2025 include a visit to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution’s Deep Tech Lab, launching our first 360° dome feature at the United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice, France, for and our crowning achievement - releasing our new film Wild Rescue in IMAX 3D in theatres worldwide.. We are thrilled TV legend Marc Summers, who is a longtime producing partner, joined us as narrator on Wild Rescue.

We also carved through the humidity and endless mosquitoes to begin production on our next giant-screen film with , the untitled Wetlands IMAX 3D project slated for release in 2027.

Lastly, we also celebrate the re-release of Hidden Pacific, now titled Ocean Paradise, narrated by Diane Lane with music from Coldplay and Jack Johnson. It’ll never get old to walk through the airport and see posters for a film created seven years ago but still doing his job to be extraordinarily relevant today.

The best is yet to come.

Tandem continues to make a global impact with three films across three unique ecosystems in the giant screen/IMAX marketplace. As we celebrate another Giant Screen Cinema Association conference in Austin, Texas, we’re proud to present for the first time the full version of our current film WILD RESCUE, distributed by , in IMAX 3D at the Bullock Theater.

We’re also debuting a first look at our current production, WETLANDS, created with — a film about the primordial and fascinating ecosystems of America’s Gulf Coast.

And finally, our third film, OCEAN PARADISE, distributed by , is being re-released and is now playing worldwide.

We’re celebrating 14 years of — and what a journey it’s been! 🎉 Over the years, we’ve grown in size and revenue, yes — but more importantly, we’ve grown in purpose, reach, and impact.

Our latest milestone? Wrapping a breathtaking shoot in the Republic of Palau 🇵🇼, with two dedicated teams capturing both topside and underwater footage. We even had the honor of meeting with President Whipps Jr.

Armed with cutting-edge tech (dual Raptor VV X 8K systems 🔥), three drones (including a specialist from Phuket), and a dream team of Emmy-winning cinematographers, producers, and editors — this production was one for the books.

Premiering this June at the United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice, France 🇫🇷, this project marks another major collaboration with our longtime partner , along with a host of incredible organizations and ocean advocates. And yes — there was plenty of heart-racing action, thanks to the amazing free dive squad . 🐠💥

2025 is Tandem Stills + Motion, Inc.’s 14th year as a company, though our roots and relationships stretch back at least two decades. In the last 12 months we’ve been working on the launch of our second giant screen IMAX 3D film, Wild Rescue, we helped launch a new video series for The Conservation Fund and their rebranding effort and are underway on more than a dozen new film and photography projects around the world, from Asia to the heartland of America. We’re so proud to help storytellers and brands fulfill their vision and we love knowing that the yet is best to come. Thank you all for continuing to be on this journey with us.

Cosmic Picture Distribution acquires worldwide distribution rights to Tandem Stills + Motion’s “WILD RESCUE” Documentary film available for IMAX ® and giant screen theaters.

New York, NY. (September 18, 2024) - Cosmic Picture is proud to announce it will distribute “WILD RESCUE” from Tandem Stills + Motion, Inc. with support from the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network.

“Wild Rescue” captures the inspiring journey of injured wildlife and the individuals dedicated to their recovery. The film follows the heartfelt stories of both the animals in need and the devoted veterinarians and volunteers who provide them with a second chance at life. Through their efforts, we witness the challenges and triumphs of rescuing, rehabilitating, and eventually releasing these creatures back into the wild. It’s a powerful exploration of the bond between humans and animals, and the impact of care and compassion in giving wildlife a fresh start.

I'm proud to celebrate 13 years of Tandem and excited about our future! Our photography agency continues to run smoothly with ever-expanding partnerships, but we are also grateful for the many clients who have become friends, and who continue to see our premium outdoor agency as an important resource to them. Our motion picture production effort also continues to expand, with all new upgraded equipment from our edit bay to our cameras and drones, and the launch of multiple new campaigns this year. As the saying goes, I always feel the "best is yet to come!" Thank you for being part of the journey with us and if you thought the first 12 years were great, wait until you see us as a teenager!
