This little guy is such a sweet kid. He’s a bit reserved, which I totally get because both of my kiddos are the same way. And let me tell you, when I get a more reserved kid to give me their REAL smile, I feel like I won the lottery.
peaking of the lottery… a little callback to my story the other day. Bummer news… I didn’t win.
So I’ll be going back to my regularly scheduled programming: photographing my beautiful clients and not buying lottery tickets.

Why are baby smiles the absolute best?
While those smiles absolutely melt me, they aren’t always reality, and that’s okay. I’m a mom, I’ve been there. You book the session, spend the time and money, and then… baby has a meltdown. 😂
No stress. Babies are cute no matter what.
I always tell parents to just keep smiling, keep snuggling, and keep loving on your baby. Don’t worry about getting the “perfect” photo. The magical thing about babies is that even when they’re crying, they’re somehow still adorable. And more often than not, I catch those little in-between moments of the almost-smile, the pause between cries, the tiny pout, the snuggle and those end up being some of the sweetest photos

Which is kind, but honestly? One good photo isn’t the goal over here.
I want you stuck between favorites, printing more than you planned, and sending them off to grandparents because they’re just too good not to share.
