1/7/25 - Photographed from Santa Monica. Here are two photos and two videos from the night of and early morning after the Palisades fire first broke out.
I couldn’t believe what I was seeing when I first looked through my camera lens. The wind would switch and a different area of the mountain would ignite out of nowhere with massive flames. It was one of the most catastrophic things I have ever witnessed in my life. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families affected by the fires, the heroic firefighters and wildlife in Los Angeles County. This post is dedicated to you and to all of the people who are volunteering and coming together in support of this tragic event. Incredible to see counties like San Diego, Ventura, and San Francisco spring into action to come aid Los Angeles in this battle. When we all come together as one, we are the strongest ❤️ Los Angeles County will persevere and get through this.
